You don't have to. That is where the concept of multiple streams of income comes to play.

What is the implication of that?

It means you can make extra money online from your web site by offering visitors to your web site products and services related to yours but that are not competitors in the accepted sense of the word.

For example, if you signup for Google Adsense program, you will get codes that you place on the pages of your web site. Google will then display relevant ads (ads relevant to the contents of the particular page) on any page where the codes appear.

The visitor to the page will not see the codes but the ads. When visitors click on any of the ads by Google, Google credits your account with a part of the advertising fee paid for that ad by the advertiser.

This means that you can make extra money online from people who did not buy your products by incorporating income options like Google Adsense on your site. And Google Adsense is not the only extra income opportunity available. There are countless others.

Overall you make more money . . . even from those who refuse to buy from you.

Bottom line.

Your profit grows.

So, don't get stuck with the idea that the only thing you can do online is sell your products or services. You can do much more and get much more for your efforts.
